Q&A IN DEPTH
 

Who is the builder and developer?
This could be an expansive question or a direct simple one. Essentially multiple parties as opposed to a single developer or construction company simply because we do not deal with this in a one-stop-shop developer fashion. It is a unified collaboration of professionals that are developing or building a luxury Eco-resort with much nature and land preservation around the homes yet still a master-planned gated community. There are just a few phases when building a reserve luxury Eco-resort, and still have wonderful amenities for all. This beautiful property was simply acquired, designed, surveyed, engineered and then granted government permitted lots with common spaces for wellness living and activities. Issues such as soil and environmental tests were done by Costa Rica law, and even a wildlife reservation inquiries and with some preservation action. The three mile main road was carefully carved into the master property, and the lots or “homesites” were cleared, zoned and graded with perfection. Of course other development factors such as state-of-the-art septic and solar power came in per section to all homesites so we answered this very honestly and clearly. The new homesite and homeowners are essentially becoming partner builders with us. Hence, this whole new concept and idea is new in Costa Rica and speeds up building five-fold and preserves the natural environment. Even our tennis courts, golf course, walking and biking trails took minimal heavy machinery site work.

How close is the ocean?
Five miles in view and a simple quick scooter, vehicle or bike ride down the nice paved road 238. Indeed and frankly, we are not in the beach resort business per se, but we can tell you right now once you ever fly over Costa Rica and see their pristine shorelines and beaches they ultimately are the most beautiful and protected in the world. There are strict maritime zoning laws for even a few hundred meters away from the shoreline, massive red tape, difficult permits, leases required from or by the local gov. and it's doubled taxed, and they don't care about money or celebrity statuses either. Las Trenzas gives you the best off all worlds and is safe from ocean disasters, loud beach partying and remains relatively cool at night with our high altitude and breezes (500M). Yes, we still have Pavones and Zancudo beaches and Golfito Dulce (Bay) in our eye view with waterfalls, beautiful foliage and wildlife all over the property.

On site: Take a right outside one of our three gates and you’re in ten miles of the most gorgeous beaches in the world in fifteen minutes, or turn left and you’re in downtown Golfito in ten minutes with access to shopping, pharmacies, marinas, restaurants, banking, groceries, a renovated state-of-the-art hospital, dental, and our local duty-free port and airport which serves 4 flights a day to San Jose in 45 minutes. The best flight in the world in our humble opinion.
 
How do you deliver the prefab home kit or my RV to my lot?
By container on a commercial ship to the Golfito port a few miles away. It is placed onto a flatbed truck and simply driven up to the lot which thus turns into a home from/on a homesite, and then sculpted into the perfect retirement haven in a master-planned gated community. We will help facilitate everything and receive substantial discounts on prefab homes and shipping. The sky is the limit with a new owner’s ready lot to functional homesite to dream home with a great Clubhouse and like-minded people.  

How can I pick, choose and hold my homesite (lot) reservation?
After buyer’s deposit or "lot-hold" is placed we arrange our drone to go over some lot choices and send the data. Our reservation team then follows up with Q&A, and once we review or all parties review the buyer or potential resident makes a final decision we then start to arrange a Discovery Tour of the reserve and lot(s). Red stakes are already reserved and we are currently updating our online virtual master plan in HD after the global COVID pandemic is over. Three days and two nights is perfect to see everything and perhaps catch a dolphin and whale tour and see the beaches and region. We make things relatively simple, professional, fun - and safe.

When will the lot be ready for my ordered home or RV?
One to two months is all it takes, however, buyers or future residents must realize they have to help us arrange the home and this has an admin and legal shelf life of 24 months to complete the final home on the homesite with residents living. That being said, we will not be fully operational until late 2022 for our Clubhouse and most amenities. You will have access to the resort (project) and your homesite with a key card and ID check with security at the gate at anytime 9AM - 6PM M-F while under development (4 Phases).

In this day and age what types of full purchase, down payments, deposits and transactions do you accept?
We accept bank wire, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, ApplePay, PayPal, Bitcoin and select cryptocurrencies.

What is included in the HOA monthly fee?

  • Your own Costa Rica Sociedad Anonima (corporation), registered in the name of your choice, with full title and ownership to your chosen "Homesite". (inc. with lot purchase)

  • Membership in the Master Homeowners Association (GT-HOA) * ($90 HOA fee per month due monthly or annual)
